Blossom Mobile App Privacy Policy

The Blossom mobile app is a mobile app platform for local restaurants operated by Tabshare, Inc. and is currently available only in the United States. The Blossom mobile app ("the App," "we" or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users' personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how the App collects, uses, stores and shares your personal information. By creating an account or using the App, you are demonstrating your consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the restaurants and bars where you use the App.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page and update the Privacy Policy modification date. Please check back regularly to review any changes to this Privacy Policy. If you use the App after this policy is modified, you consent to the changes. If you do not agree to any changed version of this Policy, you should not use the App. This Policy was last modified on May 12, 2016.

Personal Information

Personal Information is information about you that you provide to us that is personally identifying, such as your name, phone number and email address and that is not otherwise publicly available. The legal definition of Personal Information depends on your physical location and may include other types of information. Only the definition that applies to your physical location will apply to you under this Privacy Policy.

What Personal Information Do We Collect and How Do We Use It?

We collect Personal Information when users create an account and input their email, first and last name, phone number and password. We also collect information relating to your location directly from your device. We collect this information to set up and manage your account, to send you emails, SMS text messages and push notifications, to respond to your inquiries, to provide technical support, and to enable you to use the App. Messaging and data rates may apply to SMS text messages we send to you. When you choose to provide your Personal Information, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We collect behavioral data (order and transaction data) relating to the purchases and transactions you make through the App. We aggregate user behavioral data and use it for internal business purposes, including business development and to improve the App user experience, as well as commercial purposes. Information from aggregated data sets can never be traced back to a specific user.

You can unsubscribe from our emails by emailing support@blossomdate.com asking to be unscubsribed. If you do not want us to use your location or if you do not want to receive push notifications, you should turn off these services for the App located in your mobile phone settings.

Phone Number Verification

During the registration process, we use the Digits plug-in created by Twitter to collect and verify the user’s phone number. The Digits plug-in and Twitter are third party services that are covered by the Twitter privacy policy, which you can find on twitter.com. By using the Digits plug-in you agree to our collection of your Personal Information from Twitter, which we will use, retain and disclose in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

In-App Purchases and Credit Card Transactions

Payment information is not collected or stored by the App, since all payments are processed by third party payment vendors, including ApplePay and Stripe. When users save a credit or debit card to an account on Tabshare, they are automatically directed to our third party payment vendor who collects, processes and stores the payment information. We do not collect any payment information when users make purchases through the App.

Do We Use Cookies or other Technologies?

The App may use Google Analytics. For more information about Google Analytics, please see Google’s help pages and privacy policy:

How Do We Protect Your Information?

We will take reasonable precautions to protect Personal Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. For example, your Personal Information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Do We Disclose Personal Information to Third Parties?

We do not disclose your Personal Information to third parties, other than trusted third parties that enable us to operate the App and conduct our business. We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our policies and terms, detect or prevent fraud, security or technical issues, or protect our or others’ rights, property, or safety. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and spam/malware prevention. Because our servers that store your information are located in the U.S.A., your information may be available to U.S. government entities or agencies under a lawful court order or other legal process in the U.S.

It's also important to note that we do not allow third party behavioral tracking. We may provide anonymized user data that includes order and transaction data to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
